Safety

Safety is engineered into every aspect of the Mica Slide Pro. The seat meets the latest EU R129/04 i-Size safety standard and is proven safe in both front and side-impact crash tests. Your child can travel in the safest, recommended rearward-facing position from birth up to 4 years old, or switch to forward-facing from 15 months if preferred.

The G-CELL Side Impact Protection structure spreads impact forces and reduces injuries in the event of a side collision, whilst patented AirProtect® side impact technology in the headrest provides extra protection for your child’s head, neck and shoulders. The built-in ISOFIX base features secure connectors and a rotation lock that ensures the seat remains in the safest rearward-facing position. Colour-coded indicators confirm correct installation at a glance — when all green, you’re ready to go.

The 5-point harness keeps your child safe from birth, and the E-Buckle uses light and sound signals to confirm your child’s harness is snug and properly tightened, eliminating the guesswork around loose harnesses that affects around 40% of children in car seats.

Ease of Use

The built-in ISOFIX base with SLIDETECH®2 removes the need for an extra base. The 27 cm slide brings the seat closer to you, making it effortless to lift your child in and out without straining your back. The easy-in harness stays open and out of the way during entry, whilst the 360° FlexiSpin rotation system lets you turn the seat toward you with one hand for quick, effortless access on every journey.

Washable covers can be wiped down with a damp cloth or machine washed at 30°C, keeping your car seat fresh and hygienic.

Comfort

Five recline positions let your child rest at different angles for superior sleep comfort, whether you’re on a short trip or a long journey. The ClimaFlow ventilation panels, breathable foam, and mesh fabrics create a climate-controlled environment that keeps your little one cool, fresh and comfortable throughout the year. The extra-spacious seat and nine adjustable headrest positions ensure your growing child (0–4 years, 40–105 cm) stays supported and comfortable with a harness that adjusts as they grow.
