About Us Olivers BabyCare

Olivers BabyCare started life in 1993 as a baby shop in Winchester. The original owners successfully built the business and sold it in 2012 to local company EDPA Ltd, based near Stamford, prior to their retirement. Olivers BayCare joined the EDPA Ltd stable of an online shopping site and continued to work directly with parents at baby shows across the UK. Following the closure of local high-street baby product retailers such as Mothercare and John Lewis in April 2021, the director of EDPA decided to convert part of their large warehouse into selling space for customers to browse and try out baby products from their range. The new, airconditioned store is fitted to a very high standard and has knowledgeable staff. Olivers had been running as a successful online nursery retailer for many years. However, spring 2021 showed them that there was an exceptional demand for a physical store in the area.

We are passionate about providing you and your family with quality products for your little ones, starting from those first stages of pregnancy to birth and all the way through to their first day at school. We aim to provide those essential items and give advice that will support you every step of the way and be available at your convenience.

When you walk through the door of our store, you’ll notice the ambience is like any high-street store and we take pride in delivering personal service.

We want each and every one of our customers to feel welcome and at ease in our store. We know that shopping for a baby is a whole new world for first-time parents and can sometimes be slightly daunting.

Our experienced, knowledgeable staff are here to help and give you all the guidance and knowledge possible to help you in making those oh-so-important purchases from nursery furniture and travel systems right through to home safety. Our team are happy to demonstrate and walk you through the range available to take away or delivered direct to your home.

You’ll also find that we’ll take care of your pocket in these tough economic times. We price match wherever possible to ensure you’ll get the very best deal, as we do understand that being a parent is rewarding but very expensive these days!

We are lucky enough to have huge warehouse space on site, giving you a choice of products in stock ready to take away on the day you visit us. We stock a wide range of over 5,000 products. Most of our brands are well known and award winning, including Joie, Obaby, Callowesse, Silver Cross, Venicci, Chicco, Mamas & Papas and Uppababy as well as niche brands. We know how important it is for many of our parents to be able to see and feel the products they are buying for their special new addition to the family.

We’re open six days a week, so as a busy parent you’ll find us available from Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm, and, if you can’t immediately get to the store, all our products are available to order online via our website, with an option to click and collect or take advantage of our free local delivery offer.
